A BETTER WORLD
Forget language and colour, we’re all the same,
we’re all human beings: we feel the same pain;
get rid of cruelty, nastiness and fighting;
what we need is a world full of love everlasting.
Follow the examples of the Earth Angels
and do like they do,
speak only as you’d like to be spoken to:
learn from people like them,
their experience is vast,
on helping others
and making problems a thing of the past.
Let go of anger, I implore you to –
jealousy and bad feelings will only harm you;
my wish for the world is for all to be
helping each other;
you and me;
follow their example,
brighten someone’s day,
then do it again so the feeling will stay!
