PURPLE AND GREEN VELVET

Smooth, plush, textured and bumpy,

velvet can be smooth

or velvet can be lumpy,

made into curtains,

thick and warm

or covering sofas

that it adorns;

with purple velvet

my needs are met;

in stately homes

it stands the test of time

and I love what it does to mine!

NOT JUST VELVET

Hidden Houses,

Abstract Owls,

Winking Fox,

are you with me now?

Can you see what appeared

the way that I do,

or do you just see Coloured Velvet?

I did at first too!
