SMOKE AND MIRRORS
Serpents rising from the depths,
or smoke ‘n’ mirrors, place your bets;
what you see is what you get –
has your brain decided yet?
Head and tail of just one creature?
what do you see as a feature?
slitty eye and long thick tail,
in the air as he sets sail:
off to see Nessie , his older brother:
he lives in a cave undercover.
