MIRROR MIRROR

Mirror Mirror in my hand,

behind me I see acres of land,

but I’m sinking fast, in green quick sand,

it’s not exactly what I had planned!

Is it a reflection of my fears,

due to all the speeding years,

I wish I could slow down the gears at last,

and stop the hamster wheel,

going nowhere fast.
